Welcome to Shoreline Pet Sitters, LLC!

Our company is based in Branford, Connecticut and serves the Central Shoreline and neighboring towns. Our service employs only professional Veterinary Technicians with many years of knowledge and experience in the field of animal nursing. Many other companies offer pet sitters with little or no professional training who are not prepared for emergencies should they arise. We are passionate about animals and you can be assured that with our service your pets' health and safety are our top priority! Best of all, our rates are comparable to those pet sitters and companies with no veterinary training. Please check our Rates page for more information.

Why Pet Sitting?

More than 60% of all the households in the United States have a pet of some kind, and there are an estimated 110 million cats and dogs alone, not to mention all those households with birds, fish, ferrets and other pets. According to the American Humane Society, all of these pets are happiest when they're at home, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds and smells.

Advantages for the pet

Your pet remains in his or her safe and secure environment, where all the sights, smells and sounds are familiar and comforting in your absence. He follows his customary diet, exercise routine and medical treatments. He is not exposed to illnesses or parasites from other animals, and above all, your pet is not traumatized by travel in a car or with an unfamiliar environment. He receives love, personal attention and professional, supervised care while his owner is away.

Advantages for the pet owner

You are not inconvenienced or upset by having to transport your pet to a kennel nor do you have to impose on a friend, family member or neighbor. Your home is made more secure by the presence of a professional pet sitter who will alternate lights, blinds and give the appearance of someone being home. You are secure in the knowledge that, while you are away, your pet is in capable and caring hands and has access to 24 hour veterinary care at the New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine.
