Our Company

Shoreline Pet Sitters, LLC has been owned and operated by Gregory Blackledge, CVT; a licensed veterinary technician and his wife, Charmagne Blackledge, since 2001. We are bonded and insured for your protection. We hire only highly trained veterinary technicians to care for your pet.

Our service began because of a need for trained veterinary personel to care for pets while their owners were away. While working at a busy veterinary hospital, Greg noticed that many cats and dogs would experiance weight loss, anxiety, depression or illness after their trip to a kennel. Owners were having to invest in medical care simply because their pets had been out of their familiar environment and routine. Our service elimimates these problems. We also provide nursing management for your pet at home if he has health issues. All of our pet sitters are practicing veterinary technicians with many years experience in animal medical care. Should the need arise, all of our pet sitters have immediate access to 24 hour veterinary treatment at the New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine.
